Multiworks supports adults with intellectual disabilities with their residential, vocational, and employment needs. In this role, you will help foster a supportive, engaging, and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administering medications safely and accurately
- Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene routines
- Maintaining clear and accurate daily documentation
- Supporting community inclusion and other routine duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Clean Criminal Record with a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Driver's License

Starting Wage:
- $21.98 / hour

Job Title: Wood Shop Supervisor

Job Summary:
• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the woodshop
• Working with adults with cognitive disabilities
• Ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• This role involves managing a team
• Coordinating production schedules
• Maintaining tools and equipment
• Maintaining a functional amount of supplies (dust collector bags, staples, safety supplies, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train wood shop staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor the quality of work and provide feedback to team members.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, ordering as necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project requirements and timelines.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Ability to work with and coach adults with intellectual disabilities
• To support the woodshop manager in managing the woodshop and coaching and supporting participants
• Adhere to all OH&S guidelines
• To work in partnership with other personnel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Working ability to troubleshoot equipment and production problems
• Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
• Class 1A would be beneficial
• Have Fork lift and skid steer licenses or be willing to get
• Experience with woodshop equipment beneficial
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a wood shop environment.
• Mechanical experience
• Communication skills
