KidSport - Meadow Lake

KidSport - Meadow Lake KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.

Through confidential application we provide grant so they can play a season of sport. The Meadow Lake chapter of KidSport is run by local volunteers and provides funding to kids in the Meadow Lake and surrounding area. Each year our committee sponsors over 130 children for over $40,000.00 in a wide variety of sporting activities. Mission Statement
"That no kid should be left on the sidelines and

all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport"

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation commemorates the history of residential schools and honours all persons who were impacted, including children.

KidSport Saskatchewan recognizes the value of sport and how it, along with language and culture, was taken away from those attending residential schools.

In support of lasting change, KidSport Saskatchewan will be closed on September 30 to provide space to reflect and engage in community events. Together we can learn, play and grow. 🧡💛
