Drop by our Women’s Outreach Session this August.

Our outreach worker is here to assist with housing options, financial planning, navigating applications, and connecting you to relevant programs in the agency.

Dates and Locations:

Valemount: Thursday, August 27th, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the RVCS Office 1444 5th Avenue.

McBride: Friday, August 28th, 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the RVCS Office 942 3rd Avenue.

No registration is needed, just drop in and get the support you need.

Looking for something fun and hands-on to do this summer? Join us for three days of learning, connection, and skill-building designed for youth ages 13–19!
Participants will gain confidence through practical activities focused on cooking, budgeting, teamwork, communication, and everyday life skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Dates: August 10–12

🏡 Long Term Affordable Housing Opportunity Available!

We currently have availability in our Long Term Affordable housing program, for a women and their dependents.

We have 1- Two Bedroom Accessible unit available August 1st and a second Two-bedroom unit available mid to late August.

This program is intended to provide long term women led tenancy for women with children who have low to moderate income and are seeking safety, community and longer-term stability. There is no limit to the length of stay in this housing. Applicants will be triaged based on vulnerability, risk and need.

The applicants must:
✅Meet the Housing Income Limits (HILS): 2023 Housing Income Limits (HILS) – Effective January 1, 2023 (bchousing.org). During intake, resident must fill out and sign a rent subsidy application alongside their tenancy agreements.
✅ Tenants need to be able to live independently
✅ Provide their own furnishings.
