🚨 Attention Trail Users:

The Minden OPP has been and will be actively enforcing speed limits and monitoring compliance with stop signs on the B103 rail trail. 🚔 This is in response to repeated issues with excessive speeding and failure to stop at posted signs.

⚠️ Let this serve as a clear warning: these dangerous behaviours will not be beneficial to organized snowmobiling. The rules exist to ensure the safety of everyone on the trails.

✅ Respect the rules.
✅ Respect other trail users & landowners.

A valid trail permit is required to access and enjoy the trails. Trail permits help fund maintenance and grooming, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

🛑Ride responsibly and keep the trails safe and sustainable for years to come.

Prepping Ontario’s world class snowmobile trail network for the coming winter is an enormous task, and every club could use some extra help. There are many different ways you can get involved and make a valuable contribution to your favourite winter activity and your local community! Meet new people and have fun! Also a great way for students to get their volunteer hours for school.

GOOD NEWS SNOWMOBILERS!!!
On September 13 and 14, more than 350 grassroots volunteers - representing 179 community-based OFSC member snowmobile clubs from across Ontario - gathered in Muskoka to officially kick off the 2024/2025 season! OFSC AGM is also when Member Clubs vote on Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permit fees for the upcoming season. Our members, alongside our program partners at the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), are pleased to announce that there will be no increase in 2025 Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permit fees. Revenue from permit sales allows the OFSC to continue to make investments into the provincial snowmobile trail network through groomer acquisitions and refurbishment, major infrastructure replacement and maintenance, and trail preparation and grooming operations.

Another great club supporter stepped up with the free loan of a brand new mini excavator, and brand new trailer to haul it on. When I say new, I mean BRAND NEW. We picked it up at the dealer and went straight to our shop.

Wayne Maunula is donating the use of his excavator and trailer to us to do some much needed washout work on our “A” trail west of Kakabeka Falls, and a few other trails that need work. This unit allows us to move it ourselves to the different work areas.

Stay tuned for trail work updates.

Thank you Wayne.
