So proud to support this need in our community!

A huge MDPS thank you goes out to the Mattawa Lion's Club! You may recall earlier this month Mattawa Lion's hosted our bike rodeo. While they were here, we were chatting with a few members about replacing aging school furniture as this spring we ordered 15 new desks and two square tables. Immediately, the Lion's asked how they could help! In no time at all they arrived with a generous donation for MDPS. With these funds we will be purchasing much needed chairs for our primary classrooms. From the bottom or our hearts, we thank you all for your support and generosity. Mattawa truly is a fabulous community. 💙💛

Reminder:
There's a double bingo tonight.
1st game will be pink and white cards dated May 29th.
When that game is completed we will start playing our June 5th cards which are Blue and yellow.
START TIME: 6:30pm

The Mattawa Lions Club held our Seniors Appreciation Dinner last night with great success. We hosted over 130 guests! The club has been providing this dinner to our community for well over 20 years. We thank all who attended and look forward to next year. We appreciate you! 🍽️💙💛

Shout out to the Golden Age Club and their team who prepared the meal for us!

Food handlers course is being offered on Monday, June 15th at the club. This would be canceled by Health unit if not enough people are signed up.
Would anyone sign up if it was offered on Saturday?
