Please be advised that due to poor weather conditions:

All Household Waste Collection scheduled to take place tomorrow (Wednesday) in the Burin Peninsula Region has been cancelled. The Household Waste collection schedule for the remainder of the week will be pushed ahead by one day. For example: Waste normally collected on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday March 05, 2026.

Federal MP for Terra Nova Peninsulas, Jonathan Rowe, will be at the Rock Harbour 50+ Community Centre on Thursday, March 5th at 12:00pm. Light luncheon available.

The Rock Hr. L*D will hold a committee meeting at the Community Center at 6:00 pm , Saturday Jan. 17th.
The reason for this meeting is to set the Garbage Collection rates for 2026.
