As another spring turkey season comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who shared the woods, the stories, the early mornings, and the memories with us this year. From first birds to longbeards of a lifetime, it’s been amazing seeing the success and passion from hunters across Ontario.

Now that the tags are filled and the feathers have settled, don’t let those memories sit in the freezer or on a shelf. Preserve your trophy in a truly unique way with custom feather art displays from Wild Plume Artistry by Charlotte. Handcrafted feather mounts and artwork are a beautiful way to showcase the bird and the hunt behind it.

To celebrate her launch, introductory rates are available for a limited time. If you harvested a bird this season and want something different than traditional taxidermy, now’s the perfect time to book your piece. Reach out to Charlotte Reade to discuss your ideas!

Congratulations to everyone on a safe and successful turkey season, we hope you all have a great summer!

Congratulations to 13-year-old Angus Dolan on harvesting a beautiful tom this morning! What makes this even more special is that Angus was the winner of our essay contest last year, where he earned the opportunity to complete his hunters safety course.
Seeing young hunters like Angus grow, learn, and succeed in the outdoors is exactly what it’s all about. The future of our hunting heritage is bright with youth like this leading the way.
Great job Angus, we’re proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next! 🦃🇨🇦

Big congratulations to our dedicated volunteer Ben Reade on an incredible Quebec turkey hunting experience with GoHuntBirds.com last weekend!

Bentley is always one of the first to step up and help at our events and is becoming a very passionate turkey hunter! It was awesome to see him enjoy such a memorable hunt. From chasing gobblers in new country to making great memories along the way, listen in on how it went... truly an experience he won’t forget anytime soon.

Well deserved, Bentley — thanks for everything you do for our chapter and the hunting community! The future is bright!

A huge thank you to Cassie for creating such a beautiful original painting for our banquet! Watching her put the finishing touches on the piece live during the event made it even more special. The artwork was then auctioned off to help support conservation efforts and the future of our hunting heritage. Truly an incredible talent and an unforgettable addition to the night!

What a night supporting our friends at the 1000 Islands Chapter, Delta Waterfowl Ontario banquet last weekend!
Great food, great people, and an even better atmosphere, all coming together for a cause that matters. Nights like these aren’t just about having fun (though we definitely did that), they’re about investing in conservation, protecting waterfowl, and preserving the traditions we love.
Every dollar raised is an investment in the future, for the wildlife, our habitat, and most importantly, our kids.

Congrats to 11 years!! Already looking forward to the next one! 🦆🇨🇦
