Dear Friends and visitors of our page,
To quote the famous words of the famous fictional movie detective, mr. Adrien Monk:"It's a jungle out there...!", following the lead of the famous by now, Randy Newman's song:

And this statement (also from the "Monk" series): "I might be wrong now, but... I don't think so!" (belonging also to Randy Newman) applies, IONSHO, to the dog owners searching desperately for honest opinions about how to take care of their dogs.
So, "what's a girl to do!?" (another famous quote from CG, a somebody in the high-end audio world)...:), but to put her brain to work and to start learning!
OK, but,... where to start? ("it's a jungle out there", isn't it!?).
Here is my/our (Nia's and my) attempt to answer, -at least partially-, that question, in an old, traditional, scholastic manner; meaning, better follow the path of the savvy and rugged experts, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, in... your inner circle!".
Hence, here are the titles that we've gather, so far, during the years, trying to cover the problem/s:
1) "The Forever Dog", by Rodney Habib & Dr. Karen Shaw Becker
In our opinion this is the ultimate "bible" of understanding dog's wellness and best dietary options in a top-notch scientific way.
A must for any dog lover/owner. Our rating is 10/10.

3) "Yin & Yang Nutrition for Dogs", by Judy Morgan DVM and Hue Grant".
This is an interesting book emphasizing (like the first two books above) the importance of home prepared meals and minimization of commercial diets and medication in dog's health.
Plenty of recipes/solutions/treatments cover both the diets of healthy and suffering dogs. Our rating: 9/10

This one could be the most fascinated incursion into the individual and herd animal behavioral thinking or, at least the one that your humble has ever read, regardless of genre. It also helps one inquisitorial mind deduce the approach of the Global Herders toward the apparently defenseless human World flock... (which might explain the scarcity of the book and its deterrent price?)

Excellent book advising on the "left home alone" issue, from a lady who happens to be an avid Tibetan Terriers lover, owner and longtime expert educator and groomer. Our rating: 9/10

Bought this for our granddaughter (8 yrs. old at the time) and end up reading it! A candid approach to offer a better understanding of dogs thinking and behaving. Our rating: 8/10

9) "The Tibetan Terrier Book", by Jane Reif (Second Edition)
This is most probably the "Bible" of the TT breed. A very serious approach of the TT breed from its roots. A must have and study for any Tibetan Terrier lover/owner, for a profound understanding of the realities of this amazing breed (versus appearances and opinions)! A very well-presented history of the breed, and it shows (drawings) its attributes as well. Our rating: 10/10

This one is a very shameless attempt to make some money by somebody who does not qualify to be named... an author. Zero.
Awful waste. Stay away! (no idea how we got one!...) Rating: 1/10

11) "Tibetan Terrier, Tibetan Terrier Dog Complete Owner's manual" by George Oppendale and Asia Moore
What a shameful attempt on fulling the readers, is this one too (see the one above); must have bought it from Winners or some other "general store". Stay away!
12) "The Stone Guide to Dog Grooming for all Breeds", by Ben and Pearl Stone
A serious manual, aimed mostly for professional groomers this one; but, (unless you are not one of those...), as a mere Tibetan Terrier owner, you can skip this one in favor of the next one (dedicated exclusively to "our beloved TT breed").

14) "Grooming the Tibetan Terrier, an essential Guide for Pet and show owners", by Julie Hamilton Hindle.
Now, this is most probably the "Bible" written by the unchallenged top world authority in grooming Tibetan Terriers; an excellent coverage of the subject and an introduction into Ms. Hindle's micro-universe, as well (so you can follow her on Facebook,... in Tibet and in her movements throughout the "macro-Universe", as well..:)! Our rating: 9/10
