自2014年起，聯社開始關注到華人社區對善終服務的需求，而社區內又缺乏有關方面的華語義工培訓課程, 聯社遂於2016年依「安省善終服務」(HPCO)的義工訓練指引，設計了一套以中文講授的義工訓練課程，名為「慈心關懷大使義工訓練課程」。培訓課程的目的是為讓義工了解老、弱、臨終乃至其他危疾患者及其家人的需要，並懂得如何給予適當的關懷及支持。聯社並協助畢業學員成為探訪義工。安排探訪的地點可包括醫院、院舍或服務對像家中。主要是以華人社區有語言障礙者為主，如資源許可，亦會服務其他語言族裔人士。雖然聯社是一佛教團體，但所服務的對象是不分宗教背景。

evenue Agency. Since 2014, we have been engaging in community and palliative care education. In 2016, BENO designed our own Chinese language Compassionate Care Program (CCP) according to Hospice and Palliative Care Ontario (HPCO) guidelines. The main purpose of CCP is to train Chinese speaking volunteers who will mainly serve the Chinese community but can also serve non-Chinese communities when needed, to provide emotional support for the sick and dying, or other vulnerable populations in institutions or in clients' homes, regardless of their religious affiliations or the lack thereof.
