From the TCCSA Toronto Centre at 247 Spadina Avenue, several of Toronto's most famous landmarks are just a short walk or quick transit ride away.
🚶 Walking Directions (Under 10 Minutes)
These landmarks are in the immediate vicinity and easiest to reach on foot.

• Chinatown Centre (222 Spadina Ave):
o Directions: Walk south on Spadina Avenue for approximately 1 minute (about 100m).

• Dragon City Mall (280 Spadina Ave):
o Directions: Walk north on Spadina Avenue toward Dundas Street West for approximately 2 minutes (about 150m).

• Kensington Market:
o Directions: Walk north to Dundas St W, turn left (west), and walk one block to Kensington Avenue.
o Total Time: ~5 minutes.

• Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO):
o Directions: Walk north to Dundas St W, turn right (east), and walk approximately 600m toward McCaul Street.
o Total Time: ~8 minutes.

For landmarks around TC, the 505 or 510 Streetcar is the most direct option.

Ever felt like the walls are talking to you? In Chinatown, they actually are! 🎨✨
Chinatown isn't just for amazing food (though we’re definitely here for that too 🥟)—it’s basically a giant, open-air art gallery!

From the legendary "Spiritual Dragon" tucked away near Spadina to the majestic "Forbidden City" on Jean Lumb Lane, our neighborhood is like a giant coloring book where someone actually managed to stay inside the lines. Whether you’re getting lost in the "Milky Way Mural" at Huron St or finding some motivation at the "Stay Strong" piece on Grange Avenue, there’s a masterpiece around every corner. You can even find "Music Transcending All Differences" over on Cecil St —which is basically how we feel after a good snack!

But why let the street artists have all the glory? 🖌️🕺
Once you’re done with your outdoor art tour, come join us inside! The TCCSA Toronto Centre offers its own Arts Programs where you can stop being just a fan and start being the creator. Whether you're a pro or your best work is still a very enthusiastic stick figure, there’s a spot for you here.

Designed especially for newcomers, this 90-minute session combines peaceful mindfulness practices with a hands-on crafting experience. This month, we are creating beautiful succulent terrariums!

We’re inviting newcomer children aged 6–12 years to join us for two days to learn, play and grow! It’s the perfect place for your child to make new friends, explore possibilities and build lasting skills.

Our two exciting camps were filled with laughter, creativity, learning, and new friendships! 💛

Campers enjoyed:
🎨 Arts & crafts, including bead bracelets, jellyfish pastel art, Picasso-inspired faces & straw painting monsters
🏴‍☠️ Pirate Day adventures

😄 Crazy Hair Day & cozy Pajama Movie Day
🧡 Learning about Indigenous cultures, traditions, and the importance of respect and diversity

Beyond the fun, our camps helped children—especially those from newcomer families—build confidence, make new friends, strengthen communication and teamwork, and develop a greater sense of belonging in our community. 🌎🤝
