Back for our fourth year, join AAT Youth for an afternoon of ֆուտբոլ as we cheer on alongside fellow fans and Armenians!

With each ticket purchase, a $7 donation will be made to which through the power of sport, aims to empower girls and young women across Armenia by promoting health, life, and leadership skills. Serving over 800 girls across 8 different regions in Armenia, GOALS has established soccer leagues and impact programs set on making a positive difference!

♰ OBITUARY ♰

“Approach the Lord and receive the light”

TORONTO – His Beatitude Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, Catholicos Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Holy See of Cilicia, the Patriarchal Congregation of Bzommar, the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of Our Lady of Nareg in the United States and Canada, and the community of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Catholic Church of Toronto, with deep sorrow, announce the passing of the founding pastor, Very Rev. Fr. Elias (Yeghia) Kirijian. Following a long battle against cancer, he commended his soul to the Father on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 5:05pm, in the Rectory of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Catholic Church in Toronto.

Details of Liturgical arrangements including the Sacerdotal Funeral Rite will be announced in the coming days, under the auspices of His Excellency Bishop Mikael Mouradian, Eparch of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of Our Lady of Nareg in the United States and Canada.

We raise our prayers to God, asking for eternal rest for the soul of Very Reverend Father Elias. May the memory of the righteous be blessed.
