Across Canada, Structube's commitment is showing up where it matters most — inside hospital rooms.

Through this partnership, Structube’s generosity has become woven into everyday pediatric care in the communities it touches. At stores across the country, Structube has opened its doors to welcome Starlight staff and local hospital partners to present the Starlight programs made possible through its donations. With each donation, that impact reaches a new city, placing these programs directly into local children’s hospitals. Six presentations in, that impact is felt in powerful moments: a child lighting up while playing a game, a VR headset easing anxiety during treatment, or a handheld console helping a child escape into another world for a little while.

And last week, that impact grew once again. 💜

Inside Structube’s newly opened Calgary store, Starlight child Emma helped mark the special occasion by cutting the ribbon, as the sixth stop on this national journey brought new Starlight programs into Alberta Children’s Hospital and South Health Campus. Standing alongside Structube team members and hospital professionals, it was clear that what began in that gathering would soon echo far beyond it.

Thank you, Structube, for ensuring that in hospital rooms across Canada, childhood continues to have a place. ✨

This September, Tea & Tiaras Toronto celebrated its 10th year, and an incredible milestone made possible by our community: more than $1 million raised since its inception! ✨ Presented by Bloom Lanys Professional Corporation, this year’s high tea raised more than $160,000 for Starlight Canada, thanks to a community that continues to show up year after year to bring joy, comfort, and brighter moments to seriously ill children.

Hosted by Jennifer Valentyne, over 300 guests gathered at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, for an inspiring afternoon that included delectable treats, exciting auctions and raffles, and a moving speech from Starlight teen Zooey, whose story brought the impact of their support to life.

The afternoon also featured a stunning fashion show by The Toronto Fashion Academy, followed by our Starlight Family Fashion Show, where Starlight kids and teens took to the runway in Ardene’s latest fall collection. It was a chance to shine the spotlight on who the day was truly about, as our Starlight stars took centre stage with a room full of support cheering them on.

Starlight Canada is incredibly grateful for the passion, support and heart from Power To Be as they hosted several Starlight families throughout the summer at their Prospect Lake home in BC, for an accessible and stress-free camping experience. These overnight experiences gave families the opportunity to leave the hospital stays and medical treatments behind, finding moments of hope, connection and joy along the way. 🏕️

As summer comes to an end, it is incredibly empowering to look back on the memories made in nature and the impact created for seriously ill children and their families. This could not have been done without the generosity of Power To Be, so from everyone at the Starlight Canada family, thank you! 💕

We’re still looking back on an incredible day of impact at our 6th Annual Starlight Open. ⛳💫

Last month, 144 golfers from Quebec’s business and philanthropic communities came together at Beaconsfield Golf Club in Pointe-Claire, driven by their generosity and a shared commitment to raise more than $265,000 for families with seriously ill children.

Behind every swing was the chance to give a child something illness can so often take away: the opportunity to laugh, play, make memories and simply be a kid. You could feel the heart behind the day from the first tee-off to the final putt, with Starlight programs and activities throughout the course bringing the mission to life and showing golfers exactly what their support makes possible beyond the green.
The morning rain may have delayed the start, but not the commitment behind the day. Our golfers stayed, waited it out and showed the true power of this community.

Nous repensons encore à cette journée incroyable, tenue à l’occasion de la 6e édition annuelle de la Classique Starlight. ⛳💫

Le mois dernier, 144 golfeurs des milieux des affaires et de la philanthropie du Québec se sont réunis au Beaconsfield Golf Club, à Pointe-Claire. Animés par leur générosité et un engagement commun, ils ont amassé plus de 265 000 $ pour les familles d’enfants gravement malades.

Derrière chaque élan se trouvait la possibilité d’offrir à un enfant ce que la maladie lui enlève trop souvent : la chance de rire, de jouer, de créer des souvenirs et, tout simplement, d’être un enfant. Du premier coup de départ au dernier coup roulé, on sentait tout le cœur investi dans cette journée. Les programmes et les activités de Starlight, présents tout au long du parcours, donnaient vie à notre mission et montraient aux golfeurs ce que leur soutien rend possible bien au-delà du terrain de golf.

La pluie du matin a peut-être retardé le départ, mais elle n’a pas freiné l’engagement de nos golfeurs. Ils sont restés, ont attendu que la pluie passe et ont montré toute la force de cette communauté.

Sunrise Records is proud of the difference we’re making this month with Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada — helping kids like Nolan find more reasons to smile. 🌟 Following his leukemia diagnosis, 5-year-old Nolan and his family experienced a world no child should have to know so young — filled with hospital stays, treatments and uncertainty. Through it all, moments to play, laugh, connect and simply be a kid have meant so much.

That’s what Starlight Canada helps make possible. From bringing fun and comfort into hospital rooms to creating special experiences families can enjoy together, Starlight helps make the difficult days a little brighter for kids like Nolan.

Happy birthday to the one and only Lucas Scarfone — dad, husband, friend, philanthropist, car enthusiast, and the heart behind so many smiles. 💚

For the past four years, Drive For Smiles Toronto Chairman Lucas Scarfone has turned his passion for cars into an incredible force for good, helping rally a community that has raised more than $315,000 for Starlight kids and families.

This Saturday, Lucas and his iconic Pesto GT3 will once again hit the track with purpose — surrounded by the community and supporters he’s brought together along the way. 🏁

"On the way home, he told me that he spent the whole day without a single worry about life and could only just have fun,” shared Starlight mom, Lee-Anne. “I cried no less than 10 times that day, from the magic of seeing shock turn to joy, to watching Oliver take in every second." ⚽❤️

The most unforgettable moments of the FIFA World Cup don't always happen on the pitch.

As Canada welcomes the world through FIFA, six incredible Starlight kids and teens have experienced dreams of their own on the world's biggest stage.

One of those fans is Oliver. Like so many teenagers, he dreams about soccer. But unlike most, he's spent years navigating hydrocephalus, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, brain surgery, and countless hospital visits. Watching Canada compete at the FIFA World Cup gave him something that had become all too rare: a day where soccer was the only thing on his mind.

By the end of the day, he turned to his mom and said: “This is the best day of my life and I will remember this forever."

Oliver's story is one of six unforgettable moments made possible by the generosity of our ticket donors, Kids Up Front Foundation Vancouver, Angela Brown, and Mark Austen. Thank you for proving that some of the most meaningful victories happen in the stands.

That's the legacy of the World Cup. Beyond the goals, beyond the players, and beyond the stadium, its greatest impact is found in the moments that reach into communities and change lives.
