Madinah was the first city of Islam where Islamic state established and its foundations were laid. Madinah created brotherhood and organization, and made the Islamic structure. Muslims came together to work side by side for the message of Allah and all intolerance in association with tribe, nationality, color, race, was erased, and a new brotherhood of Islam was formed. The Ansars, the supporters

of Prophet Mohammad, may peace and blessings be upon him, hosted The Muhajiroon, the migrants, as their brothers. Madinah worked on teaching of Qur'an and knowledge and formed an environment of learning, practice, and sacrifice and from there the teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophet Mohammad spread to the world. We aim to be a social platform where Muslims from all over the world would come together for the love of Allah and Prophet Mohammad to know one another and experience Islam as a way of life.

مدينة هي أداة رقمية إسلامية مستقلة للتواصل الإجتماعي تتخذ من اسم مدينة رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - عنوانا للدلالة على خلفيتها ومنهجها، وللتأسي بالسيرة النبوية في تأسيس المجتمع الإسلامي بإستخدام أحدث وسائل التكنولوجيا من خلال الترابط الرقمي بين أفراد الأمة والتواصل الحضاري بين المسلمين وغير المسلمين انطلاقا من المسجد وعلى أسس مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية ومبادئها وحقوقها المكفولة.

نبعت فكرة مدينة من حاجة الأمة إلى أداة رقمية تحمل طابع المجتمع الإسلامي الكامل وتساهم في صياغة الفرد المسلم وتكوين المجتمع الإسلامي على أرض الواقع، كما أنها توفر إطارا تتظافر فيه الجهود في بلاد المسلمين لخدمة القضايا الإسلامية والإنسانية، ونرى ذلك ضرورة شرعية تتعين على كل قادر.
