The Marathon Sno-kickers are once again running our corporate sponsorship program for the upcoming season. Information is starting to go out to local businesses. If you haven’t received information and would like to find out more about how being a corporate sponsor can assist the club in ensuring future sustainability while benefiting your business through advertising please contact us! We would like to acknowledge our first round of sponsors for the 2026/2027 season. Marathon Rod and Gun Club, Boart Longyear, Biigtigong Nishnaabeg, NFMC Forestry, Figliomeni Sports and Tbay Tel. Due to a lack of RSVPs. We are unfortunately going to have to Postpone this Wednesdays BBQ and Social event hosted by the Rod and Gun Club, we will try to pick a new date sometime before the cold weather arrives that works for more people . The Marathon Rod and Gun club have graciously invited Marathon Sno-Kickers members to their lodge at 3 finger lake on August 19th at 4pm for a bbq and fun evening of games and water fun while we soak up the what’s left of summer and wait for the coming snowmobile season. Please RSVP by commenting on this post or message Craig Colbourne by end of day August 17th so the cooks can have an idea of how much food they will need to prepare. There is no cost for this event for club members.

We are excited to announce we will be hosting a Season Wind-Up Volunteer Appreciation Night this Saturday !

Join us as we wind down an incredible season and celebrate all of our amazing volunteers!

We were hopeful to plan something different for our upcoming club meeting to attract some more attendees but after some consideration and lack of time to plan due to soaking up every last ride possible, we’ve decided to stay status quo and hold the meeting at the Victim Services office on Sunday April 12th at 6pm. At that time we will try to plan a separate season wind up social in the coming weeks! As this is our last scheduled meeting of the season it will be our AGM where elections of Club executive for the 2027 season will take place . Hope to see everyone there! Meeting is open to the public
