​The Marathon Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Club is looking for quotes for our capital project, "The Next Glide: From Legacy to Lift-Off." ❄️🎿

​We have two RFQs open for bidding:

​🏠 RFQ #1: Garage Roof Replacement
Shingle-to-tin conversion (~1,600 ft²).

​💡 RFQ #2: Trail Lighting Upgrade
Retrofitting ~5 km of trails with modern LEDs & new wiring (~100 lights / 60 poles).

​⏰ Deadline: July 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST

The Marathon Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Club (MCCSSC) is officially seeking competitive quotes for our upcoming project, "The Next Glide: From Legacy to Lift-Off." If you are a qualified professional looking for local project opportunities, the MCCSSC Board of Directors wants to hear from you!

We have two separate Requests for Quotations (RFQs) open for bidding:

🏠 RFQ #1: Garage Roof Replacement
Scope: Approx. 1,600 ft² garage roof shingle-to-tin conversion.
Includes full shingle removal, underlay, tin panels, flashings, trims, ridge caps, and snow/ice stops.

💡 RFQ #2: Trail Lighting Replacement & Upgrade
Scope: Retrofitting and upgrading approx. 5km of our trail lighting system.
Includes replacing ~100 trail lights with modern LEDs, installing new wiring up the poles and new junction boxes for ~60 poles, plus ESA inspection.

📋 Important Details for Applicants:
Submission Deadline: July 24, 2026, by 4:00 PM EST

Requirement: All quotes must provide an itemized breakdown by category (materials, labour, travel, taxes, etc.).

Have you made your last tracks? The snow is melting fast!

The chalet is now closed for the season but trails remain open for skiing and snowshoeing. 🚨Trail lights are out of service until further notice due to damage from a lightning strike. 🚨 The bunny loop is also closed for the season as we prepare for our move-out, scheduled for Sunday, April 19th at 1pm.

Spring is around the corner (at least in theory) and it's time for us to move out! We could use your helping hands on April 19th to help us clear out the chalet and say goodbye to an awesome season of skiing and snowshoeing. Hope to see you there!
