Let's take a minute to talk about the stock at the Last Dash Bronc Bash! What a bunch of buckers!! Horses and cows alike. Awesome.

We want to thank Jeff Yule, Tom Bingham, Bob Maines, and Dwayne Ashbacher, as well as all of their helpers. The stock brought a lot of excitement to the event and these contractors all came into it with the the same attitude as us and a desire to help young cowboys starting out in the roughstock events of rodeo. In order to build skills, contestants need opportunities to ride! We couldn't have this event without these contractors and their stock.

The pictures are of a couple of broncs at a summertime practice, are just for attention, and because bucking horses are cool. And pretty. Pretty cool. 😉

Today we would like to acknowledge the sponsors who generously donated to support the 2024 Last Dash Bronc Bash and make it such a success. Funds raised from the event will allow the Cowtown Roughstock group to keep running practices in the year ahead. We are ending 2024 with immense gratitude for these sponsors, as well as our volunteers, contestants and spectators. Happy New Year to all. 🎉

Today is the day!!! Bronc Bash 2024, proudly presented by Flying W Consulting. Here is a look at the program for tonight. Lots of "local" cowboys from Southwest Saskatchewan and Southeast Alberta, as well as many that feel like {rodeo} family to us! Hope to see you tonight for some great Bronc Riding Action!

Doors open at 5. Action gets rolling at 6.

We're set up and ready to see if this year's Bronc Bash can be even better than last year!? We have more heaters, more speakers and a great group of people working hard to make it happen! Special thanks to the crew that helped salt and sand in the drill hall area today. Much appreciated! We'll do finishing touches tomorrow and we'll see you doors open at 5:00!

These gents donate a great deal of time throughout the year as pickup men for the Cowtown Roughstock practices. As experienced ranch and rodeo cowboys, they also provide mentorship and coaching. They'll be the pickup men at the Bronc Bash tomorrow night and our contestants are in great hands!

New this year! Safe Ride Service.

We have partnered with JTS Bus lines so that you can enjoy a drink or two while taking in the Bronc Bash and get home safely.

Ride service available in Maple Creek to the Bronc Bash from 5:00 - 6:00 and then following the bronc riding until around midnight. Call 306-661-8334.

Two days til the Bronc Bash!! We are busy getting things ready to make this year's event even better than last year!

Joining us again as our announcer is 7 time Canadian Pro Rodeo Announcer of the Year, Joe Braniff!

Joe is generously donating his time, as he knows that the purpose of this event is to raise money to support young roughstock cowboys getting started in the sport of Rodeo.

Joe’s resume includes announcing 10 Calgary Stampedes, 4 Indian National Finals, PBR Canada National Finals, Xtreme Bulls World Finals,
and the list goes on. If you were there last year, you know how his knowledge of, and love for the sport of rodeo added to the night and we are so fortunate to have him back.

Broncs buck Saturday at 6:00.
