Team Manitoba came up just short in the 5 vs 6 game against Alberta and ended the week in 6th. Manitou Minor Baseball is super proud of Soren for representing our community, our league, and our province at the Canada Games. Great job on a fantastic baseball season Soren!

Even smoke from the wildfires at the edge of the city couldn't distract Team MB from the task at hand. Manitoba beat New Brunswick 8-3 to move to 2-2 in pool play. They still have a shot at finishing 2nd in their pool and moving on to the quarterfinals.

Update: It's official, Manitoba finished 2nd in their pool and advance to the quarterfinals tomorrow afternoon!

Manitou Minor Baseball is well represented on The Rock! Team MB beat Nova Scotia this morning to improve to 1-1. Good Luck for the rest of the week Soren!

Manitou's Soren Reid was 3 for 4 at the plate including a Grand Slam and 6 RBIs plus throwing 3 strikeouts in 1 inning on the mound in a 12-12 tie in the last game of pool play at the Gopher Classic in Minneapolis, MN. The Manitoba 17u Team finishes at the top of their pool with a 4-0-1 record that earns them a spot in the final round of the top 16.

Revenge is sweet! After a loss to BC in the round robin, the 16U Team MB got the last laugh with a close fought 2-1 victory in the Gold Medal Game. Western Canada Prospects Champions!
