We were so happy to take part in Community Connections Day this week in Bridgewater!
You might be wondering… what is the Bay Hive, and how does it connect to the Festivals of Mahone Bay?
The Bay Hive is a community-based creative centre located in the basement of Trinity United Church. It’s a welcoming space where makers and crafters come together to create many of the handmade elements that help bring our festivals to life. The Bay Hive also hosts a wide variety of workshops and is a wonderful place to meet others who share a love of crafting, creativity, and making.
And what about the Festivals of Mahone Bay?
Our committee is a vibrant mix of locals and newcomers, all united by a shared love for Mahone Bay and its unique charm. Together, we plan, organize, and bring to life the Scarecrow Festival and the Father Christmas Festival, working year-round to ensure each season is filled with creativity, community spirit, and memorable moments for visitors and residents alike.
👉 Mark your calendar! Join us for our Fundraising BBQ on July 1st at Saltbox Brewery and help support the festivals that make Mahone Bay so special. 🇨🇦🔥
