The HFX Wanderers FC are back home this Saturday and Mahone Bay United will be there! We are still short some players to walk out with the pros ideally U11-U15 age group, and looking for U7 player for the half time 7v7 Game. They are also gathering gently used soccer gear for those in need! As part of the excitement the game will be televised. ⚽️💛 HALIFAX WANDERERS CAMP The Halifax Wanderers are offering a WEEK-LONG CAMP this summer for players ages 9-14 years at the Mahone Bay Centre/Community Field! The camp runs from Monday, August 10th - Friday, August 14th. Players will learn from Halifax Wanderers coaches in a fun, inclusive environment with different themes for each camp built around our club values. Included in your registration is a Halifax Wanderers Camp t-shirt

Mahone Bay United's 15+ Adult co-ed drop in games move outdoors today! Sundays 5:30pm-7pm At Mahone Bay Centres Community Field! Please bring both a white and black shirt.
A recommended donation of five dollars per game is greatly appreciated. All skill and fitness levels welcome, come have a fun kick about! See you on the pitch

Hello Mahone Bay Players and Families,

We are super excited to be heading into summer soccer with you all! Please make sure you have checked out the welcome emails and are regularly checking spond, all practices and games will be communicated there as well as other fun club events!

Tim spotted Chris Lawn Eriksen the cousin of Lionel Mowsi
on his most recent trip to Denmark. Fun fact that is where the idea for an automower for the community field originated.

You may have noticed some field maintenance happening at Mahone Bay's Community field. Here are some things you can do to help ensure a beautiful and healthy field for the upcoming summer season.

1) Please respect the boundary tape of areas that are being resodded.
2) Staying of the field during wet weather, or when the field is wet
3) Do not allow your pets to do their bussiness on the pitch and if they do to please clean up after them
4) If you see Lionel Mowsi doing his thing, leave him be, and make sure his path is clear move your belongings out of his path
5) When using the soccer nets to make sure to remove them off the field and place them back in designated areas so Poor Lionel doesn't get entagled
6) When practicing try and rotate where you use the field- example avoid high traffic areas where wear is high ( goal area )

COACH WITH MBYSA THIS SUMMER!

​We're gearing up for another exciting MBYSA Summer Soccer program this May-August 2026 and are thrilled to share that registrations are steadily coming in!

With this wonderful response in registrations, we need support from parents across each division to join our coaching teams.

Here’s what you need to know:
➡️ We NEED 2–3 coaches per division (a lead with a couple of assistants is always helpful).
➡️ Coach Training will be provided! Tim Merry will be leading the sessions on Sunday, May 24th (save the date - more info to come!)
➡️ Soccer knowledge and coaching experience is not mandatory (some of our most engaging coaches have not played the game nor coached it in the past).
➡️ Easy-to-follow and well-designed coaching plans are supplied for every session. They require only about 10 minutes of prep beforehand.

Soccer Nova Scotia is pleased to offer university entrance student awards/scholarships to outstanding members of Soccer Nova Scotia.

The recipient must commence post-secondary studies at a Canadian university or college in 2026.

The 2026 Scholarship Application form is fully online. There are eight scholarships being offered – two of $600 each, four of $750 and two, four-year scholarships of $500/year.
