Last Friday a group of men traveled to Barry's Bay to join North Hastings Community Integration Association Baseball Teams in the Community Living Month Baseball Day Tournament hosted by Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living!

Two of our player won MVP in their first games!

Two of our players also won door prizes!

They all enjoyed the free BBQ and had a wonderful day playing baseball!

Thank you again NHCIA for inviting us to join your teams and to everyone who organized the amazing day!

We got seeds and they are planted!

Last month Community Development Council of Quinte dropped off seeds, and you know how much we love to garden around here!

The seeds have been planted and are now tend to daily!

Connecting with people who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities helps us – and everyone – in communities across Ontario.

In celebration of Community Living Month, we hosted our annual Mayoral Breakfast. This year we got to enjoy an amazing breakfast at Madoc Firehall Restaurant and Bar with a group made up of our Mayor's, our Board Chair, Staff, and people who are in receipt of our services.

As always, we took this opportunity to speak about the many different programs Madoc COPE has to offer; Madoc COPE is not just a building, it is an organization where over 80 people are supported within their community, for some this includes their very own home.

We highlighted and gave many example on how everything we do from organizing events to creating calendars and achieving goals is all started by someone supported coming to us with the idea.

We thanked the Mayor's for their continuous support and dedication to our organization by handing out their Community Living Month gifts!

Thank you to everyone who attended and represented our organization and the communities we support.
