A few photos from the start of another field season! 🌿🐟

Our hardworking crew is back in the rivers once again.

The first few weeks of the season are dedicated to inspecting and maintaining habitat restoration structures that were installed over the years to support Atlantic salmon and brook trout populations. Annual maintenance helps ensure these structures continue functioning as intended and providing valuable habitat for fish.

Can you believe some of these structures are approaching 20 years old? It's a testament to the long-term commitment required for habitat restoration and the lasting impact these projects can have on our local watersheds!

We're looking forward to another productive season and sharing our work with you along the way!

The countdown is on! Our Fishing Derby takes place next Saturday and we can't wait to see everyone there!

There will be great fishing, lots of prizes, and plenty of food and refreshments available for purchase!
