This year’s festival was nothing short of timeless, built from night and day of work, from hearts that never stopped believing.

To my incredible staff and every volunteer, thank you for giving your time, your laughter, and your strength. And to Phyllis Ellis, our remarkable Executive Director of the Weengushk International Film Festival, and our dedicated board members Nano Debassige and Jonathan Zagula, your vision and spirit carried us through every challenge and every triumph.

Because of you, the festival came alive, glowing with stories, music, and the spirit of our people. Without your unwavering energy and love, this celebration of voices and visions would not have been possible. Together, we created something truly timeless.

To Our Award Winners and Leaders

Thank you to all our award winners, leaders, changemakers, and dreamers.
The words you shared, the messages you carried, were powerful and true, they echoed through the night, reaching hearts far beyond the stage.

You reminded us that leadership is not only in titles,
but in courage, kindness, and the stories we leave behind.

Your light will keep guiding the path forward,
long after the applause fades.

Chi Miigwetch to all our funders and to everyone who attended.
