Join us at our Margaret Hennigar Public Library, Saturday, June 6th at 12:00pm, in celebrating National Indigenous History Month with local artist, Sheila Porter, from Bear River First Nation! Blending contemporary jewelry design with traditional artistry, Sheila creates distinctive pieces that celebrate her Mi’kmaq heritage. Come learn about Sheila's incredible journey of art, culture, and celebration with an Artist's Talk + Quillwork demo followed by a leather bracelet workshop. Everyone welcome!

If you live near the The Mahone Bay Centre you should come and visit this community field and walking track. It's INCREDIBLE. The track is paved so it's accessible for ALL - bikes, scooters, walkers, wheelchairs. Come out and give it a try. While you're there, you might also be able to watch an exciting game of soccer, courtesy of Mahone Bay United Soccer club.
