CDRA - Canadian DoryRacing Association CDRA's vision is to promote and maintain the heritage sport of dory racing. We strive to foster the competition and camaraderie between Canada and USA

Every year in June, elimination races take place in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, with the winners from each category earning the right to represent Canada in the International Dory Races in Gloucester, Massachusetts. In August, elimination races take place once again in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, with the winners from each category earning the right to race against Gloucester, Massachusetts when they join us for our International Dory Races in Lunenburg.

Good morning from Gloucester. We’re all getting prepped for our races at 10:00am here in Gloucester, which will be 11:00 back home.

We will have livestream, however it will not be from this page. Tim Oakes will be live-streaming to his personal page. Please send him a friend request. He has lots of Nova Scotia friends from doing this over the years, and he’s a great guy to boot 😊

Time is running out and so are the tickets!!! The weather is looking fantastic for our annual Buenose II cruise which is happening this Saturday, August 22 at 6pm! We have just 11 tickets left! $125 per person which includes beverages and the opportunity to sail on the Bluenose II at sunset! Please contact [email protected].
