The Lumby Lions are seeking volunteers to assist us with the Lumby Days Beer Gardens from June 12th to 14th, 2026. We are looking for help with security, token selling, and manning the bar. The beer garden will be open from 4pm to 11pm on Friday, June 12th, from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday, June 13th, and from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, June 14th. Shifts are 3 hours for the later shifts and 3 1/2 hours for the earlier shifts. Experienced Lions personnel will be on hand for guidance. If volunteers have their Serving It Right certificate that would be an asset; but not necessary. We do not offer monetary compensation; but volunteers will have the satisfaction of helping the Lions in their goal of assisting the community to ensure a fun and safe Lumby Days! Do you live in Lumby or the surrounding area (Lavington, Area D or Area E, rural Lumby) and are wanting to hang out with a group of fun people? If yes, then the Lumby Lions Club may be just what you are looking for!

We are a fun group of people who put on and assist with community events throughout the year and we are looking for new members! The commitment is not big and you get to be with a group of fun people! We usually organize or participate in between 4 and 6 community events a year, with the main ones being Lumby Days, Santa's Anonymous Toy Run, the Easter Egg Hunt and one or two dances throughout the year, where the Lions man the bar! Having your Serving It Right ticket is a plus, but not a requirement!

The Lions meet once a month on the first Tuesday of each month at the Lumby Legion in their upstairs meeting room! Our next meeting is March 3rd at 6:30 pm if anyone wants to come and join the gang!
