Call for Artists!

Sit, Stay, Art is a celebration of the profound and often joyful relationships we share with our animal companions. This exhibition hopes to bring together diverse artistic perspectives that capture the spirit, personality, and presence of the animals who enrich our daily lives.

From loyal dogs and independent cats to birds, reptiles, and other beloved companions, the works in this show explore themes of connection, comfort, play, and mutual understanding. Artists are invited to interpret these bonds in ways that are realistic, abstract, whimsical, or deeply personal.

At its heart, Sit, Stay, Art honors the quiet moments, the unconditional loyalty, and the unique stories that exist between humans and animals—offering viewers a chance to reflect on the companions who shape our homes and hearts.

A young person's artwork was left at the MAC birdhouse painting station yesterday.
We have it here with us at the Monashee Arts Council / Village Gallery display at the White Valiley Community Centre - and we'll be here until 4pm. Otherwise we will bring it to the MAC Village Gallery where it be available to pick up next week.
