At Holy Trinity Parish, we are blessed by nearly 200 volunteers and leaders whose generous service helps bring the mission of Jesus to life, and in the weeks ahead we look forward to celebrating some of these incredible Changemakers.
This week, we are delighted to recognize Shannon Skanes and Linda Monahan for their outstanding leadership and service through Alpha and leadership development in our parish.
Shannon’s journey—from Alpha guest to helper, host, RCIA participant, team coach, and leader—is a beautiful example of discipleship in action. She plays a key role in planning and running Alpha, supporting team training, and serves on our Pastoral Council.
Linda has faithfully served through Alpha for many years, growing from host to leader and coach. She helps oversee Alpha, supports team training, and mentors team members as they grow in leadership.
Together, Shannon and Linda have been instrumental in strengthening Alpha and developing leaders within our parish. They continue to invest in their own growth through leadership formation, including a leadership book study and attendance at the Alpha Leadership Conference in London.
We are deeply grateful for their servant hearts, dedication, and commitment to investing in others. Their leadership and encouragement continue to make a tremendous impact on our parish community.

At Holy Trinity Parish, we are blessed by nearly 200 volunteers and leaders whose generous service helps bring the mission of Jesus to life, and in the weeks ahead we look forward to celebrating some of these incredible Changemakers.

This week, we are delighted to celebrate Bruce Colborne and Gerald Felix and the incredible leadership, faith, and joy they bring to our parish community through Growth Groups.
Inspired by their own experience of faith-filled brotherhood, Bruce and Gerald stepped out in faith to launch a new men’s Growth Group where fellowship, prayer, learning, and authentic conversation could flourish. Since January, their enthusiasm, encouragement, and servant leadership have helped create a welcoming space where men are growing closer to God and one another.

Alongside members from Holy Apostles Parish, they have also helped foster unity and support between parishes while mentoring and walking alongside emerging leaders. Their joyful witness and dedication to building a culture of discipleship and brotherhood continue to inspire so many within our parish community.

Happy Feast of the Most Holy Trinity! This is especially significant for our parish family as it is also the feast day of our parish. May we always give glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end🙏

At Holy Trinity Parish, we are blessed by nearly 200 volunteers and leaders whose generous service helps bring the mission of Jesus to life, and in the weeks ahead we look forward to celebrating some of these incredible Changemakers.
This week, we joyfully celebrate the Knights of Columbus and the many ways these faithful men have served our parish community throughout the year. Whether through parish events, community gatherings, parish improvements, or quiet acts of service behind the scenes, their generosity and leadership continue to make a lasting impact on the mission of our church.
From coffee after Mass, pancake suppers, barbecues, and ice cream socials to supporting Growth Groups, Care & Companionship ministry, seminarians, and outreach initiatives like Coats for Kids, Special Olympics, and Beacon House, the Knights continue to build community both within and beyond our parish walls.
Thank you, Knights of Columbus, for your servant hearts, faithful witness, and dedication to building up Holy Trinity Parish and our wider community. We are deeply grateful for each of you!

This week, we’re excited to celebrate Louise Blais and Tanya Rafter, the dedicated leaders of our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program! ❤️
Over the past several years, our parish has been blessed to welcome many new members into our faith community, and Louise and Tanya have played a beautiful role in guiding and accompanying them on their journey of faith.
Through their faithful leadership, welcoming hearts, and committed team, they have helped create a ministry where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and encounter Christ in a deeper way.
Thank you, Louise and Tanya, for your servant hearts and for all you do to help build up our parish family! 🙏
