Boys attend for five-day sessions, Monday to Friday, in July and girls in August. We are a waterfront based camp with traditional camping activities including swimming, canoeing, hiking, games, arts and crafts, and of course, campfire. Brigid's Summer Camp is open to all children aged 8 to 14 (There is a maximum of 144 campers per week). Brigid's Summer Camp we are committed to fulfilling the need

s of today's children. It is our belief that every child should have the opportunity to participate in our camp. Brigid's nurtures each camper's intellectual, moral, physical, emotional and social needs and interests. Each camper is considered to be a valuable, contributing member of the camp community. Brigid's Summer Camp is a registered charity that at its heart has always strived to offer a summer camp experience to underprivileged youth. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp regardless of their family's financial situation. As such, we do not charge any fee, but ask parents to make, at no obligation, a donation to cover as much of the cost of sending their child as they feel they can afford. We must raise $450 per child per week to operate the camp. If the family is able to cover that amount, we appreciate it. If not, we ask that parents do what they can to help. Any shortfalls are made up through financial contributions from donors and sponsors, and from fundraising activities. Our main fundraising activity that includes the kids is the annual ticket raffle. All children will be asked to sell at least one book of raffle tickets.
