Join us for the Salem Acres Work Bee as we continue to work on projects around camp! Every year we have thousands of guests coming through our camp, they appreciate the love and care we take in the uptake of our facilities. We need your help in the continuous mission of highlighting community and peace in the presence of God with numerous areas of camp needing attention in preparation for the coming retreats and summer program.

Date: February 28, 2026

Location: Salem Acres Bible Camp 21442, Highway 590 near Elnora, AB West

1. Arrival and Orientation: 9:30

2. Work Projects: 10:00 - 12:30

3. Lunch! 12:30-1:30

4. Work Projects: 1:30 - 5:00

Who Can Join? All ages and experiences are welcome, we have plenty of work for any skill set. If there is a particular task that interests you from the following list or a different area that is unlisted but you would like to work on please email Jeremy Seeley at [email protected]

What are some of the Tasks?

Maranatha House:

- Touch up on the areas still needing to be sanded

- Finish any remaining prep for painting

- Prime walls throughout the house

Main Complex/Chapel:

- Deep Clean Fridge and Freezer

- Spot paint the fridge with appliance epoxy paint

- Replace pipe in the chapel basement bathroom

**Special Request** We are looking for someone who is qualified or has previous experience installing backer boards and shower tiles for one of our bathrooms. We have all of the materials necessary to complete the task.

Beth Haven House:

- Install backer board in the basement bathroom

- Install tiles in basement bathroom shower walls and bathtub

- Tear out the old vanity

- Replace vanity

Carpentry and Mechanic Shops:

- Continue to tidy and organize main areas and parts room

What to Bring:

● Clothing suitable for painting, sturdy shoes, water bottle

● A spirit of community and teamwork!

Here are some progress photos from our latest work bee!

Highlighted areas worked on:
- Tore out the top floor and bottom floor showers in Maranatha.
- Spackled and sanded walls in preparation to prime and paint.
- Fixed truck door.
- Multiple toilets repaired.
- Organized Mechanic Shop.
