Crab Fest may be over, but our work continues. ⚾❤️

Over the past few days, so many of you joined our page while supporting us at Crab Fest. Welcome, and thank you for being here!

Our committee’s mission is to help bring community spaces in Louisbourg back to life, and our first project is the Louisbourg upper ballfield. Stay tuned for more project updates, upcoming fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and ways you can get involved.

We can’t wait to share what’s next. Thank you for being part of the journey!

What an incredible Crab Fest weekend!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success. To our volunteers, sponsors, performers, local businesses, community organizations, CBRM student staff, emergency services, and everyone who worked behind the scenes: your time, energy, and dedication made this weekend possible.

It truly takes a village, and Louisbourg showed exactly what community is all about. We are so proud to be just one one of the committees that came together to be a part of Crab Fest this year.

And to everyone who came out to celebrate with us: thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and for making Crab Fest another unforgettable weekend.

Ahhhh… the tradition of Beach Day on the Sunday of Crab Fest weekend at the Cove. 🌊☀️

Get in those beach hours while you can, the weather is perfect for it today!

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing end to another wonderful Crab Fest weekend. ❤️

Please note that as of August 1, the entrance to Kennington Cove will close at 8 p.m. 🏖️

The days are getting shorter, and it's getting darker earlier. 😔

If you enjoyed Jocelyn Hynes Music and Sheldon Chant gracing the Crab Fest stage yesterday, you’re in luck! 🎶

You can catch them again tonight at the Louisbourg Playhouse. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the show begins at 7:00 p.m., and tickets are available at the door or by calling 902-733-2996.

What a perfect way to wrap up an amazing Crab Fest weekend while continuing to support local music and the arts. ❤️ 🎶
