💛 Volunteers Needed – Taché Food Resource Centre 💛
The Taché Food Resource Centre is looking for compassionate, community minded volunteers to join our team. We truly couldn’t do what we do without the incredible people who give their time to support local families.
We serve households across the R.M. of Taché, including Landmark, Linden, Lorette, and Ste. Geneviève and every hamper we prepare is made possible by volunteers.
What does volunteering look like?
We offer a variety of opportunities to fit different schedules:
Bi-weekly shifts (set schedule):
Tuesday & Wednesday (Lorette) – morning & afternoon
Thursday (Ste. Geneviève outpost) – morning & afternoon
Mornings: Preparing hampersAfternoons: Greeting clients and assisting with hamper pickup
Flexible bi-weekly roles such as bread inventory, milk, meat, and bakery pickups
Shopper roles (flexible): Help purchase needed items (often monthly or bi-monthly depending on team availability)
We also welcome volunteers who are available on an on-call basis!
A few things to know:
Some roles involve lifting boxes and being on your feet
We do our best to offer flexibility wherever possible
You’ll be part of a supportive, welcoming team making a real difference
