Gratitude is more than a response to good circumstances. It’s a response to the goodness of God.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

We don’t give thanks for everything that happens, but we can give thanks in every circumstance because God remains faithful, His love never changes, and His presence never leaves us.

This Thanksgiving, whether life feels full of joy or you’re walking through a challenging season, may your heart be reminded of the goodness of our Father.

Communion is remembrance but we’re remembering a finished work.

Jesus did not offer Himself again and again. His sacrifice was once for all.

And because of what He accomplished, we don’t live trying to get close to God. In Christ, we have been brought near.

We have been welcomed into relationship. Into family. Into communion with the Father as sons and daughters.

“For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” — Hebrews 10:14

We remember what He has done so we can live from what He has accomplished.

Remember. Receive. Respond.

This Sunday, we’re coming to the table together.

For the first time as The Living Room family, we’ll share Communion — remembering Jesus and what He has done for us.

We remember His body given for us.
We remember His blood poured out for us.
We receive again the grace that has already been given.
And we respond by giving Him our lives.

Communion isn’t just about looking back. It’s about recognizing the life we now share in Christ and with one another.

“Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.” — 1 Corinthians 10:17

There’s something beautiful about gathering around the table as family.

Sometimes an invitation is all it takes.

A friend. A neighbour. A co-worker. Someone who’s been looking for community, asking questions about faith, or simply needs to know there’s a place where they can belong.

At The Living Room, we’re creating space to encounter Jesus, become family, and be transformed.

So this Sunday, don’t just come.

Bring someone with you. There’s room for them too.

God has total confidence in the calling on your life because it’s His calling He placed inside of you.

Paul prayed that the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened so that we would know the hope of His calling. Ephesians 1:17–18

Notice it’s HIS calling.

Your calling didn’t originate with you. It originated in Him.

You don’t have to manufacture it, strive for it, or convince God that you’re capable of carrying it.

Our response is to know Him, trust Him, and become the person God says we already are in Christ.

There is hope in His calling on your life.
