On Saturday, the last of London's Veteran banners was installed downtown in preparation for Remembrance Day. Allan Brunsden was last year's honoured Veteran. Sadly, Al passed away in June of this year. His banner is located near the intersection of Dufferin and Clarence Street.

During Monday's Remembrance Day ceremony, there will be eight official wreaths laid at the London Cenotaph. These wreaths represent our Silver Cross families, all three levels of Government, the Canadian Forces, RCMP, IODE and a Legion wreath representing all Veterans.
Families, businesses and Institutions are invited to lay a wreath this Sunday starting at 12noon until 6pm. There will be Veterans on duty at the Cenotaph to assist as may be needed.

This morning, as the sun began to rise over the City of London, a wreath was laid at the London Cenotaph to honour our heroic Indigenous Veterans. Today is Indigenous Veterans Day.

Beginning September 1st, through Remembrance Day, the City of London will honour our fallen Veterans with a Memorial Banners program in the downtown area nearest London’s Cenotaph.
