Huff n' Puff Seniors Fitness Association Because for us, life is not a spectator sport! We also have social functions like picnics and dances as well as day trips and multi-day vacations.

As one of the largest not-for-profit senior fitness associations in Canada, our organization invites people ages 55 and over to participate in a wide range of activities to encourage fitness and social contact. We have activities such as hockey, cycling, curling, volleyball, darts, carpet bowling and much more...there is lots for you to become involved in. There is something for everyone!

As promised, there will be TWO Christmas celebrations this year at The Roxbury Pub & Grill. Tickets will be available for each from Lloyd Sutherland, Donna Pratt-Sasse, Marnie Hallett Barr Littke, the HnP Office or at The Roxbury. When buying your tickets, please specify if you want tickets for the Friday night party (Nov 21st) or the Sunday afternoon party (Dec 7th). I'm only selling 100 tickets for each so get yours early!

I've just been alerted from Brad Weiler (the manager of NLOCC) that the indoor tennis courts at NLOCC will be shut down for repairs and resurfacing from August 1st to August 25th, so there will be NO indoor tennis on those dates. Indoor tennis will resume on August 26th. The outside courts will be available, but they are public courts and will be used on a first come first saved basis and public court policies apply. This is the email from Brad:
I am writing to inform you that all indoor tennis courts at North London Optimist Community Centre will be closed from August 1 to 25 due to scheduled construction and resurfacing work.
This closure is necessary to maintain the quality and safety of our courts for your Huff n Puff users as well as other facility users.
This means that we will have to cancel Huff n Puff tennis from August 4 – 25, and resume again on Aug. 26. Your groups are welcome to continue playing on the outdoor courts during this time, but I cannot reserve the outdoor courts – it would be on a first come – first served basis. I will have customer service amend the Huff n Puff tennis contracts accordingly to ensure there are no rental fees charged while the courts are unavailable.
I apologize for this service interruption and encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. It was my hope to provide more advanced notice to our users, however, it has been a slow process to confirm construction, and I just received final word that this project will go ahead this week.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our facility. I look forward to opening the new courts back up to your groups on Aug. 26.

The Huff N’ Puff of London

The Huff N’ Puff Seniors Fitness Association is a non profit society which provides organized sporting events and other physical activities for seniors over the age of 55 years. We provide more than 35 different sports and activities to provide a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Now heading into its 30th year in London, Ontario, the Huff N’ Puff currently is about 2,000 members strong and growing. We offer activities in several locations including the North London Optimist Community Center, The South London Optimist Community Center, Carling Heights Community Center, Stronach Community Center, the Victory Legion, McMahon Park as well as several other venues.
