Victim Services of Middlesex-London

Victim Services of Middlesex-London Victim Services provides victims of crime and/or traumatic circumstances with immediate support and referrals to available programs and services.

Victim Services of Middlesex-London is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and through private donations. Referrals are made primarily through London Police Services, Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police. We are a 24/7 community-based service agency that provides immediate, confidential short-term assistance, information, referrals and emotional support to persons affected by crime, tragedy and / or disaster.

Fraudsters are constantly changing their tactics. 🚨Learn how to recognize the red flags and protect yourself and those you care about.

Join the London Police Service Financial Crimes Unit and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre for a free community fraud prevention presentation on September 24, 2026, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at North Park Community Church.

The presentation will help you recognize, avoid and report some of today’s most common methods of fraud.
☕ Coffee, water and light refreshments will be provided.
📚 Resources will be available to take home.
🚗 Plenty of on-site parking is available.

Heat Warning - Beginning June 29, 2026 ☀️🌡️

Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for the region starting Monday, June 29 and continuing through at least Friday, July 3.

The Middlesex-London Health Unit has some tips to stay safe during extreme heat:
💧 Drink water often (skip alcohol & caffeine)
🚗 Never leave kids or pets in parked cars
🌳 Limit time outdoors; seek shade or go out early/late
👒 Wear light clothing & a wide-brimmed hat
🏠 Keep blinds closed, avoid extra heat indoors
🚿 Cool off with showers, baths, or damp towels
🏃‍♀️ Avoid strenuous activity

Office Closure Notice – Easter Weekend

The Victim Services of Middlesex-London office will be closed in observance of the Easter weekend.

Closure Dates:
Friday, April 18, 2026 - Monday, April 21, 2026

Our office will reopen and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, April 22, 2026.

If you require immediate assistance during this time, please call 911 in the event of an emergency. For non-emergency support, you may contact your local police service.

We wish everyone a safe and peaceful Easter weekend.
