Youth on Fire is a community organization that hosts an annual variety show, featuring local youth talent. Each year, a charity is chosen to receive the proceeds from the event. The 2013 event will be held, on November 16, at The Wolfe Performance Hall at the Central Library and will be hosted by Silent Poetry, Flying Unlimited and Pink Ink Makeup Artistry. Weird and Proud is the theme of the 2013

event. Canadian comedian Marc Trinidad will be joining us as Master of Ceremonies. Celebrity performers include hip hop artist, Saidat, and winner of the 2012 season of The Next Star, Brooklyn Roebuck. A contest is being held to choose our youth performers. Contest Details:
1. Open to youth aged 21 or younger.
2. Looking for musicians, singers, comedians, poets, dancers and actors.
3. Try out on your own or as a group!
4. Entries accepted by video submission with completed application. Audition videos should be no more than 4 minutes in length.
5. Finalists will be asked to perform, live, for our judges.
6. Winners will perform at our show and will receive the "star treatment".
7. All acts must have an anti-bullying theme.
8. Deadline for submission is Friday, September 27 at midnight.
