​Meet the newest star of the Swedish Royal Family! Princess Inés, the youngest granddaughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf, completely stole the show during the celebrations for the King’s 80th birthday. 👑
​At just 14 months old, the daughter of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia proved that you’re never too young to handle the royal spotlight. From her expressive "cheers" with tiny hands in the air to her curious glances during the Te Deum service, she was undoubtedly the "Gran Protagonista" of the morning! 🌸
​There’s nothing like a baby’s pure joy to brighten up a formal royal event.

We have smockers in our group who are beautiful knitters too. We have had a long time relationship with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at our local hospital. Our group is currently knitting themed hats for the babies in the NIC unit at Victoria Hospital. These hats, knitted by Gloria, are sure to bring a smile.

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. 💙

We pause to honour and support families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a pregnancy or infant.

At Children’s Hospital, LHSC, families who lose an infant receive a handcrafted memory box lovingly made and donated by the Lambeth Lions Club. Each box takes about ten hours to complete and holds precious keepsakes, such as a bed card, photos, a lock of hair and tiny hand and foot impressions – gentle reminders of a life deeply loved and never forgotten.

At 7 p.m., join the International Wave of Light by lighting a candle and leaving it burning for at least an hour. Together, our light reminds grieving families that they are not alone. 💗

Have you heard of Scent Hearts? Our ladies are sewing these hearts with flannel material. They are given to parents with babies in the NICU.
A parent wears the heart next to their skin and the flannel fabric absorbs their scent. Then, the parents will leave the flannel heart in the incubator with baby. This promotes scent bonding between the parent and child.
