A sweet way to make a difference! 🩵

A huge thank you to Sharon and The Western Cares Project for organizing a cinnamon roll fundraiser at Western University in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area!

Through their efforts, they raised $179 to help support mentoring programs for young people in our community.

We love seeing community members take the initiative to give back in creative and meaningful ways. Thank you for making a difference, one cinnamon roll at a time! 🌀

🧡 Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

We recognize the lasting impacts of the residential school system and the importance of listening to Indigenous voices, learning the truth of this history, and continuing the work of reconciliation.

Today and every day, we remember that Every Child Matters.

That’s a wrap on the 38th Annual Barbara Rankin Golf Classic! ⛳🩵

A BIG thank you to our incredible sponsors and supporters who helped make this year’s tournament possible.

Special thanks to Nash Family Wealth Management for their continued support as our presenting sponsor, and to all of our green sponsors, hole sponsors and silent auction donors who showed up for our organization and young people in our community.

From the first tee to the final putt, every part of the day helped support something bigger: creating meaningful mentoring opportunities for young people.

Thank you for taking your shot, believing in the power of mentorship and helping us make an impact both on and off the course. 🩵

We couldn’t do it without you.

We are BIGGER TOGETHER! 🩵

With the support of the Government of Ontario, 10,000 young people, including youth served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area, are ready to thrive as the new school year begins.

On behalf of the families we serve, we are so appreciative of the continued support from Ontario Ministry of Education. Their investment in BBBS school-focused mentoring programs helps keep young people engaged, connected and focused on school and their futures.

Mentored youth build resilience and realize their full potential.

🧠 More engaged in school
🗣️ Improved social skills
🌟 Improved relationships

Today is Big Brothers Big Sisters Day! 🩵

Today, we celebrate the power of mentorship and the people who make it possible. Every connection, every conversation, and every moment of support can help shape a young person’s future.

Because mentoring is more than being there. Mentoring is prevention.
