Pennies For Preemies Charity dedicated to fundraising for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.

Charity initiative started by two 20 year old twin girls who were patients at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in 1992 for 4 and a half months. We want to give back to the place for without it we wouldn't be alive today. To donate:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Awareness Month begins today as we welcome September.

Unfortunately, many families aren’t aware of the NICU until it often suddenly and unexpectedly becomes their baby’s home, from a few days to several months.

We recognize the critical role of the NICU and the incredible multidisciplinary team that makes it the life-saving and life-changing place that it is.

We spent 4 and a half months in the NICU - we simply would not be here without the NICU and those that help make this place home.
