Registration is now open for our annual PD Day!
This year's PD Day will be hosted by the Greater Fredericton Home Educators from 9am to 3pm at Devon Park Baptist Church, 145 Clark Street, Fredericton. You can expect a day of wonderful fellowship with other homeschool parents, encouragement as we walk this journey together, great food, a free curriculum table and some door prizes! Calling All Young Canadian Creators!

The National Youth Remembrance Contests invite children and youth across Canada to express what Remembrance means to them through art, writing, or video.

Winning entries can advance through local and provincial competitions to the national level, where cash prizes await!

First-place senior winners may even earn a trip to Ottawa to represent Canadian youth at the National Remembrance Day Ceremony.

Some of the sweetest parts of homeschooling are found in the ordinary, everyday moments. The morning read-aloud on the couch, a conversation that takes an unexpected turn, siblings learning together, baking in the kitchen, or that little spark when something finally clicks.

These moments may never make it onto a lesson plan or checklist, but they are often the ones that become the memories we treasure most.
In the midst of all the teaching, planning, and learning, may we remember to notice the beauty in the ordinary—because these days are part of the story, too.

Homeschooling in action - because learning doesn’t only happen at a desk.

The kitchen can be one of the best classrooms!

Baking gives children the opportunity to practice real-life math through fractions, measurements, counting, conversions, time, and temperature, while also strengthening reading comprehension, following directions, problem-solving, and sequencing.

Beyond academics, time in the kitchen builds independence, confidence, patience, creativity, and practical life skills—with something delicious to enjoy at the end.

Learning is happening all around us, often in the most ordinary moments. This is homeschooling in action.
