**Adopt-A-Park Clean-Up Drive**

Today, Forest City Odd Fellows Lodge #38 held our Adopt-A-Park Clean-Up Drive at Carling Park in London, Ontario. The weather started off with a light rain and then really came down just as the group was packing up, but that did not stop the spirit of service and fellowship.

Although only a few volunteers were able to make it out, they showed that small efforts can still create a meaningful impact. Every bag collected and every bit of care given to the park matters, and we are grateful to everyone who participated.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to the Carling neighbourhood community, who had already helped clean up the area earlier, before our scheduled date. Your efforts were noticed and deeply appreciated.

We hope to see more volunteers join us for our next Fall Clean-Up Drive. Together, we can continue making a positive difference in our community. 💚

**Adopt-A-Park Clean-Up Drive**

Forest City Odd Fellows Lodge #38 Proudly Supports Ark Aid Street Mission

On Saturday April 18th, members of the Forest City Odd Fellows Lodge #38 came together to make a meaningful initiative in our community by delivering a donation to Ark Aid Street Mission on Dundas Street in London, Ontario.

Rooted in our enduring commitment to “relieving the distressed,” this initiative provided essential supplies to support individuals in downtown area. The donation included high-demand items such as new socks, undergarments, and hygiene kits—basic necessities that play a vital role in preserving comfort, health, and dignity.

Ark Aid Street Mission remains a cornerstone of support for those in need in downtown London, and we are proud to stand alongside organizations that are creating real, tangible change every day.

This effort reflects the continued dedication of Forest City Lodge #38 to community service and compassionate action. Together, we can make a difference—one small act at a time.

The Forest City Lodge #38 gathered to conduct the Initiatory Degree. We are immensely proud to officially welcome these new brothers and sisters into the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF)!
The Initiatory Degree is the foundational step on a journey toward understanding the core principles that bind our order together: Friendship, Love, and Truth. By participating in this beautiful and timeless ritual, our newest members have committed themselves to our historic mission of visiting the sick, relieving the distressed, burying the dead, and educating the orphan.

In taking this degree, these individuals have donned the white collars that mark them as Odd Fellows, joining a global fraternity with a rich history of service. Being an Odd Fellow means:

Forest City Odd Fellows Lodge #38 was honored to present Dr. Robert Carroll with his 50-Year Membership Pin and certificate, recognizing half a century of commitment to the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth.

The presentation was attended by the Noble Grand, Past Grands, and members of the lodge, who gathered to celebrate this remarkable milestone. Dr. Carroll’s many years of dedication to the Order and to the spirit of fraternal service stand as an inspiring example for all members.

Congratulations to Bro. Nathan of Forest City Lodge #38, together with two worthy Brothers, on their successful completion of the Initiatory Degree Conferral at Valley City Lodge #117 in Dundas, Ontario.

This solemn and honorable achievement marks their formal entrance into the mysteries and obligations of our Noble Order. May they walk ever steadfast in the sacred principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth, and may their zeal for knowledge, service, and fraternity guide them onward through the successive degrees.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and fraternal commendation, trusting that their journey within the Independent Order of Odd Fellows shall be rich in purpose, enlightenment, and brotherly devotion. May this important step mark the beginning of a lifelong and rewarding journey, filled with growth, wisdom, and faithful service to humanity.
