SPARKS is a community grant program that provides London residents with the funds to improve and enhance their neighbourhoods. If you have an idea, the City of London will match your dollars and volunteer contributions, from $100 up to $5,000, and they’ll help you put it all together! Some of the awesome things that neighbourhoods have done:

• A community BBQ celebration.
• Art and culture exhibi

ts and festivals in neighbourhoods
• Movie nights in the park
• A neighbourhood newsletter
• A community garden at an apartment building
• Neighbourhood socials and activities for seniors and newcomers.
• Ecological park enhancements; bird boxes, plantings, signs
