Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is the only national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to reaching every Canadian affected by any type of brain tumour (be it malignant, non-malignant and metastases) through support, information, education, and research. The Brain Tumour Walk is an opportunity to come together across Canada to celebrate and remember. No matter where you walk (or how you take

your steps) you will be making a difference - you’ll be saving lives. There are no registration fees, no fundraising minimums and all are welcome to join and make a difference. You can walk individually or as a team. You might choose to do it in a day, across multiple days or even split the distance across your team and do it as a relay. You choose the time, the route and how you want to make an impact. The Brain Tumour Walk is our largest volunteer-led, peer-to-peer fundraising event, to raise money to fund brain tumour research, compassionate support services, trusted information, and advocacy to help brain tumour patients and survivors live longer, better, and with hope. The first Brain Tumour Walk event was held in London, Ontario in 1994 with more than 80 participants. This is now a national movement to end brain tumours!

On Sunday, June 9, 2019, London, ON will host its 26th Annual Brain Tumour Walk!

Brain tumours are unpredictable and complex. They can affect vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. Their effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime. There is no cure. We walk to help anyone affected by any type of brain tumour. Support from people like you means the estimated 55,000 Canadians living with a brain tumour can find hope. Hope through research. Hope through patient and survivor support. Hope for a cure.

Join us at Victoria Park. People affected by brain tumours should never walk alone. On June 9, 2019, they won’t!
