❤️ Urgent Need: A Stem Cell Match

In April, Elly Bell was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of leukemia. Her best chance for a cure is a stem cell transplant from a matched unrelated donor.

Finding a compatible donor is based on genetics. Individuals of Ashkenazi Jewish descent and those with Czech or Central European ancestry have the greatest likelihood of being a match. However, people of all backgrounds are encouraged to register, as every new donor has the potential to save a life.

The process is simple:

Complete the online registration.
Receive a free cheek swab kit by mail.
Return your sample using the prepaid envelope.
Your information is added to the Stem Cell Registry, where you could become the life-saving match someone is waiting for.
Even if you are not a match for Elly, you may be the match that saves someone else's life.

Please register today. Because it takes approximately six weeks from registration to being added to the registry, every day matters.
