The Crochet Club of London is a registered charity which began in 2002. The charity’s business number is 87116 1006 RR0001. We provide crocheted blankets to organizations that assist people and animals in need, in and around London, Ontario, Canada. We average about 100 blankets a month, and we primarily make three kinds of blankets: baby blankets, lap blankets, and single-bed sized blankets. To
date, more than 15,000 blankets have been given to over 100 local charitable organizations. Our Crochet Club blankets are never sold. We also make pet blankets with leftover yarn that is unsuitable for our regular blankets. More than 2,200 pet blankets have been given away so far. The Crochet Club is a wonderful opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals who love crocheting, and to experience the power that comes from bringing people together. The Club channels the goodness of people in a group way so that it has a greater impact on our local community. All of our incredible crocheters are responsible for the great success of The Crochet Club of London.
