Community partnerships help our garden grow! We are incredibly grateful to the London Fanshawe Horticultural Society for their generous donation to our Green Thumbs Program.

Your support helps us purchase essential supplies for our community garden, creating opportunities for people of all ages to learn, grow, and connect. The garden has become a valuable community space, and donations like yours help ensure it continues to thrive.

We'd also like to extend a special thank you to Joanne Sanborn for her guidance, expertise, and support as we planned and developed the garden.

Happy ! 🎉🐝🦋🐛🦇🪲🐞🐦

In 2007, Pollinator Partnership (P2) worked hard to gain the U.S. Senate’s unanimous approval and designation of a week in June as “National Pollinator Week”. This effort marked a necessary step toward addressing the urgent issue of declining pollinator populations.

Now in 2026, people throughout the month of June and around the world, take this time to recognize the economic value and ecosystem services provided by bees, birds, butterflies, bats, beetles, moths, wasps, and flies.

Today we officially unveiled the Bicentennial Peony Garden at Rayner Gardens in the Civic Gardens Complex.

This new space celebrates London’s Civic Flower and highlights the city’s rich horticultural heritage through three interpretive signs honouring A. Percy Saunders and Lyman Cousins.

As part of London’s Bicentennial, the garden is a lasting legacy that will continue to grow and evolve over time.

Thank you to all who joined us in marking this special milestone.
