- Youth and tomorrow's workforce, and
- Tax payers, who expect accountability of public funders.

📊 Local Labour Market Plan 2026–2027 – Highlight #3

Our workforce is aging.

Nearly half of workers (49%) are aged 25–54, while over 22% are 65+. As more experienced workers approach retirement, this shift has important implications for employers and the broader economy.

Planning for workforce transitions is essential to ensure continuity and long-term success.
