🍂🌳 A Wonderful Day Celebrating Nature & Community! 🌳🍂

Today, we enjoyed a beautiful day at Westminster Ponds, celebrating London’s designation as the 2026 Forest Capital of Canada, the City of London’s Bicentennial, and our city’s beautiful natural spaces. 🌿💚

The event brought the community together for a day of outdoor fun, learning, and environmental awareness, featuring birds of prey shows, chainsaw carving demonstrations, e-bike test rides, nature hikes, and family-friendly activities.

A special thank you to Upper Thames River Conservation Authority utrca for the invitation and for organizing such a wonderful community event! We appreciated the opportunity to connect with nature, learn about environmental conservation, and celebrate our beautiful city. 🍁🌎

🍽️✨ A Delicious Day of Cooking and Connection! ✨🍽️

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time cooking Mahshi (Stuffed Vegetables) from scratch at our Newcomer Cooking Program at South London Community Center! 🌿👩‍🍳

Participants came together to prepare this delicious traditional dish, share cooking tips, and enjoy a lovely afternoon of learning, laughter, and connection. 💚

Programs like these celebrate cultural traditions, bring people together, and help strengthen our sense of community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this program a success! 🥰

Today’s cooking program brought everyone together to prepare a delicious Egyptian favourite — Koshari! 🇪🇬❤️

From cooking and sharing recipes to enjoying good conversation and great company, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the flavours and cultures that make our community so special.
