As the school year comes to an end, the Zeta Chi chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta would like to share some of our highlights! This year was immensely successful for our organization and we are so grateful for all of the memories made with our sisters.
Formal Recruitment 2023. In September of 2023 we took part in the UWO Panhellenic Formal Recruitment. Our former Vice President of Recruitment, Sofia Vergara led our chapter through, recruiting a new member class of 46 wonderful women. This was the largest new member class we have taken since our chapter was installed at Western University. Our annual home run for hunger event was an absolute success! Other Greek organizations on campus came out and played baseball for the afternoon to fight hunger. We raised $1,700, donating it all to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. Another success, our Lamba Chi Alpha and Alpha Gamma Delta food drive! We partnered with the London Food Bank, donating hundreds of pounds of food from our local community. We hosted our first ever ALPHA GAMe show in support of world hunger this past February. Members of the Greek community came out to support our event, raising a total of $3,600. The night was fantastic, filled with trivia and comedy! Finally, our chapter hosted Parents Weekend in March, welcoming and meeting many parents. It was so special to show what our sisterhood and philantrophy means to our members. We started off the weekend at a London Knights hockey game, followed by brunch and house tours. We ended the weekend with our first ever Rose Ball Charity Gala. Our Chapter President Maddie Monti, VP Philanthropy Lauren Anderson and VP Event Planning Hope Andreana-Franco gave wonderful speeches over dinner. Ending the night with a silent auction and 50/50 raffle tickets, donating $1,400.
We wish everyone a fantastic final exam season and summer. Looking forward to another year
