London Run for Ovarian Cancer – Year 3 in the Books!
This past weekend marked my 3rd run and 2nd year on the committee for the London Run for Ovarian Cancer. It’s a powerful and emotional day, filled with stories of love, loss, and hope. While survivors are few, we hold each other close and quickly become like family.

This year, we were inspired by the amazing students at CCH (Catholic Central High School) and the creative ways they raise funds and awareness. What a team!

We also heard from one of the brilliant research doctors at LHSC who shared exciting updates—proof that we’re inching closer to a future with better treatments… and maybe even a cure.

The event is more than a run—it's a day of fun, family, and community. With sunshine, spring blooms, and hearts full of purpose, it was the perfect way to kick off my favourite season.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, or cheered us on. Every step brings us closer.

💚 I’m participating in the London Run For Ovarian Cancer on Sunday, May 11, and I need your support! 💚

As a survivor of both ovarian and breast cancer, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. On April 1, 2024, I celebrated 5 years cancer-free—a milestone I’m beyond grateful for. But the truth is, ovarian cancer has no cure. The fear of recurrence never fully fades.

✨ Why I Run:
Ovarian cancer is a silent, devastating disease that affects women of all ages. We urgently need better detection, more effective treatments, and ultimately—a cure. Research saved my life. Now I’m running to help save others.

What a day!
Last weekend, our family came together at McCully's Hill Farm in St. Marys to support my husband’s The Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer fundraiser. We served up pancakes, homemade beans, sausage, and applesauce to everyone who stopped by—and wow, did people show up!

Thank you to everyone who came out, and a special shoutout to McCully's Hill Farm for hosting and supporting us. Your kindness fuels our fight against cancer.
